Texas produced about 35% of our entire US cotton crop last
year....And the USA is responsible for about 1/3 of the world's cotton
exports.
I don't know when cotton is going to explode to the upside (or for that
matter, if it will) but if the drought situation in Texas doesn't
change, in my mind, there is no way the world is going to be seeing any
more 50 cent cotton this year...December is already 4 1/2 cent off its
lows and certainly looks primed to accelerate...The following news story
is off this morning's wires...
Truth is, I DON'T know if Cotton is about to erupt out of its THREE YEAR
CONSOLIDATION, but if it is, I think it is going to do it in a big, FAST
way....So if you are interested, give me a call...obviously, the sooner
the better.
Thanks,
Bill
